- Duties Of Committee:
- To provide oversight and assistance to all of the Church Treasurer's activities.
- To appoint Director for Counting Teams, who recruits and coordinates team members, ensuring that each team serves for assigned months (6 teams, each serving two months of year).
- To conduct regular Committee meetings and called meetings, as necessary.
- To review each month's Church Treasurer's Report in a timely manner, and present same to Session for Consideration.
- To receive bequests of funds and report same to the Session with a recommendation as to the disposition of such bequests.
- To manage the Church's investments and report their condition on a regular basis to the Session, recommending changes thereto, when necessary.
- To coordinate with Session's committees in preparation of annual budget and present budget to Session with recommendations.
- To keep the Session informed as to the current financial condition of our Church and, as necessary, recommend actions to improve same.
- To propose to the Session, when and where possible, long range plans for adoption to improve our Church's financial condition.
- To work with Stewardship Committee to advise congregation on matters pertaining to budgetary needs.
